Information Collection and Use

When you register as a Member, we ask you for a variety of information that is preserved and identified as information provided by such Member (“Member Information”). We use this information for our own internal use to monitor your Membership, your use of the Site (as defined in the Terms of Service) and to track any discrepancies.

As a Member, you may also upload data to the Site (“Member Data”). Member Data is de-identified prior to publication on the Site. Once de-identified, Member Data is no longer confidential and subject to this Privacy Policy, but shall be used in accordance with the Membership Registration Agreement.

Information that is collected by Technology Benchmark from any non-Member users and identified to a particular non-Member (“Non-Member User Information) will also be administered according to the terms of this Privacy Policy, as applicable.

Privacy Protection

Technology Benchmark respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. The steps that Technology Benchmark takes to respect your privacy while collecting data from the use of the Site (as defined in the Terms of Service) are listed below:
  1. Technology Benchmark does not make any Member Information or Non-Member User Information available to third parties. We do not sell lists or generate any third-party revenue from Member Information or Non-Member User Information.
  2. Technology Benchmark regularly analyzes data pertaining to visitor trends, research consumption, and research grading in order to improve our research, plan site enhancements, and measure overall site effectiveness. We consider this data confidential.
  3. Information from Member and non-Member user email inquires, such as names and email addresses are handled by a key management contact for processing.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Technology Benchmark does not sell, share or rent Member Information or Non-Member User Information. Member Data is available on the Site to other Members, on the terms and conditions of the Membership Registration Agreement.

If you no longer want to receive e-mail communications from Technology Benchmark, you may unsubscribe by clicking the "Unsubscribe" button at the top or bottom of each e-mail Technology Benchmark sends.

Usage Tracking

We monitor how you use the Site including search terms you enter, pages visited and documents viewed. This data is used by Technology Benchmark to help us understand how your Membership is being used.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of computer code that enables Web servers to "identify" visitors. Each time you initiate a session on the Technology Benchmark web site, a cookie is set in order to identify you and determine your access privileges. Cookies do not store any of the information that you have provided to the site. They are simply identifiers.

Technology Benchmark uses a variety of security measures to maintain the safety and confidentiality of your Member Information. All Member Information is contained behind a firewall and only accessible by a limited number of employees, agents, servants and contractors, strictly on a need-to-know basis. However, the Company shall be entitled to disclose the Member Information to any third party if required to do so by any law, regulation or court order.

Updating Account Information

If your Member Information changes, you may update it at any time. To correct or update Account Information, go to your Account Profile on the Site.

Notification of Policy Changes

We will notify you about significant changes to our Privacy Policy by placing a prominent notice on our Web site and in some instances, we may send a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your user profile.
