Citation Policy
All Content (as defined in the Terms of Service) is created and
obtained by Technology Benchmark for use by our Members for their internal research and development
purposes. From time to time, Members and third parties seek to cite the Content outside of this context.
As Content is copyrighted, any unauthorized use of such Content may violate copyright, trademark and other laws.
Should a Member download Content for personal or non-commercial use, the user must retain all copyright,
trademark or other similar notices contained in the original materials or on any copies of the Content.
Content may not be modified, reproduced, publicly displayed, performed, distributed or used for any public
or commercial purposes without the explicit written permission from Technology Benchmark. Technology Benchmark
bears no risk, responsibility or liability in the event that a Member does not obtain such explicit
written permission.
The following guidelines set forth the rules for this type of use.
Citation Of Content
- All Content produced by Technology Benchmark and published on the Site is proprietary to
Technology Benchmark and subject to copyright and other intellectual property protections.
- All external or commercial citation of the Content is prohibited without our express written
permission. Permission may be obtained by following the steps outlined below.
- All citations must be limited in scope. Full reproduction of the Content is prohibited.
- All citations must come directly from the Content itself. Technology Benchmark analysts cannot
provide verbal or direct quotes for Member materials.
- All citations must be accurately cited in verbatim or briefly summarized within the appropriate
context and spirit of the Content.
- Press release headers and/or sub headers may not contain the name "Technology Benchmark."
"Independent Research Firm" may be used.
- Citations may not be used by a Member in a manner that negatively portrays a third party
company and/or its products.
- All citations to Content must be attributed in the following manner: Title, Technology Benchmark, Date.
Uses That Do Not Require Technology Benchmark’s Approval
- Members may include a copy or slide of each scorecard, product comparison, spreadsheet, graphic,
table, or portion of text less than a paragraph from the Content in internal presentations only,
provided that all such citations adhere to the guidelines for citation set forth above.
Uses That Do Require Technology Benchmark’s Approval
- All external or commercial citation of Content, including without limitation:
- Uses of the Content in advertisements, press releases, and sales collateral in all types of media.
- Uses of the Content in SEC filings or other legal documents.
- Links to the Site.
- All non-Member requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Technology Benchmark.
- In general, if you are uncertain about a particular use, please seek our approval.
How To Seek Technology Benchmark’s Approval
- Contact Technology Benchmark Member Relations by sending an email to:
citation@techbenchmark.com.
- Provide Member Relations with the full citation and context for your request. Please include a
draft copy of any press releases and other marketing materials such as newsletters, email
campaigns, direct mail, etc.
- We will reply by email within five to ten business days.
Changes
- Technology Benchmark reserves the right to change these guidelines, at any time, without notice.
- These guidelines are for general informational purposes only and Technology Benchmark reserves any and
all rights to the Research including but not limited to the right to deny any and all uses of the Research.
How to Notify Technology Benchmark of Infringement
- If you believe any Content infringes the intellectual property or you or a third party, please
contact Technology Benchmark immediately as follows:

- Provide Member Relations with the as much information as possible about the alleged infringement.
Please include a draft copy of any relevant materials, including, if possible, a copy of the
allegedly infringed-upon material or a citation to such material.
